The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) administers student financial aid programs including the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) and Kentucky Dual Credit Scholarship (DCS) programs. High schools must report student eligibility to KHEAA from the Kentucky Student Information System (Infinite Campus).
Dual Credit Scholarship Program
On June 24, 2016, Executive Order 2016-378
established the Kentucky Dual Credit Scholarship Program that pays for up to two dual credit courses in one year with a maximum total of nine dual credit hours. Additionally, the program establishes a dual credit tuition rate ceiling for all dual credit coursework at participating postsecondary institutions (PPI).

Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES)
The KEES program
provides scholarships to students who earn at least a 2.5 GPA each year they attend a certified Kentucky high school. The better they do in high school, the more they earn toward college. They may also earn awards for ACT/SAT scores and Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge Advanced International (CAI) test scores. Home school and GED graduates may earn awards based on their ACT scores.
