Kentucky Board of Education Meeting Information

​​​​​All meetings of the Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) are open to the public. In-person meetings are held at the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), 300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601. Meetings can viewed via livestream on KDE's Media Portal.

​​KBE Meeting Dates

Special Called Meeting: The KBE will hold a special meeting in-person at the Kentucky Department of Education (300 Sower Blvd., 5th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601) and virtually via Microsoft Teams on August 25 beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. CT.

Regular Meeting: The next KBE regular meeting is scheduled virtually for September 2, 2026. The next in-person meeting is scheduled for October 7-8, 2026 at the Kentucky Department of Education, 5th Floor, Room 514 - State Board Room ​(300 Sower Blvd, Frankfort, KY 40601).​

KBE Awards Committee: The KBE Awards Committee will meet virtually on September 29.
