Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates and performs general maintenance and various janitorial duties in the upkeep of buildings, grounds and associated equipment; and performs other duties as assigned.
Coordinates and plans the maintenance services of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment in accordance with Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) standards.
Coordinates with supervisors and facility managers to prioritize work orders and allocate resources efficiently.
Perform carpentry repairs to buildings and equipment. Performs painting on buildings and equipment.
Makes routine plumbing repairs, sewage systems, and electrical repairs on equipment.
Operates machinery and equipment in the mowing and trimming of lawn.
Paints surfaces such as walls, doors, and other surfaces as required.
Move furniture, equipment, etc. when necessary.
Performs janitorial duties in maintaining buildings and adjacent areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
EDUCATION:
NONE.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
One year of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services, or mechanical maintenance experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
NONE.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Gross Monthly Salary Range: $2,459.44-$3,209.70
