U.S. Senate Youth Program

​​​​U.S. Senate Youth Program:​ Two student delegates are selected to represent Kentucky during the U.S. Senate Youth Program's (USSYP) Washington Week. Delegates also receive a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate study from The Hearst Foundations. This program is open to outstanding Kentucky high school juniors and seniors. The application is now closed. The next application will be available Fall 2023.


Kentucky's delegates for the 2023 U.S. Senate Youth Program:

David Daniel and Heng Yang were selected as Kentucky's delegates for the 2023 U.S. Senate Youth Program. Zachary Clifton and Audrey Gilbert were selected as alternates.

2022-2023 Delegates: David Daniel, a junior at Owensboro High School (Owensboro Independent), and Heng Yang, a senior at Conner High School (Boone County), were selected to represent Kentucky in the U.S. Senate Youth Program.
