IDEA Application for School Year 2026-27
Each year, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) must submit an application for federal funds under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). As part of this application process, KDE is required to make the application available for public comment 30 days prior to its effective date of July 1.
Public comments are open March 20, 2026, and will close on April 20, 2026. The DRAFT application and budget are located below.
