Health - Student Health Data

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Student Health​ ​includes school ​nurse counts, health office visits, chronic health conditions, preventative health exams, vision, hearing, dental, immunization certificates​ and body mass index data.​ ​​​​The table below provides current and historical supplemental​ student health datasets.

The Other Student Health Data section at the bottom of the webpage provides links to statewide data related to substance abuse; factors that influence the health of citizens (by county); standards, policies and guidelines, and curriculum requirements for physical activity and education; and data regarding the well-being of children in the United States.​​​

  • ​Kentucky Incentives for Prevention KIP​​ - Kentucky’s largest source of data related to student use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs as well as a number of factors related to potential substance abuse
  • Kentucky County Health Ratings - County level data about factors that influence the health of the residents in each count
  • Shape of the Nation Report for Kentucky​ - State standards, policies and guidelines and curriculum requirements for physical activity and physical education
  • Kids Count​ - A project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation to track the well-being of children in the United States. It is a premier source of data on children and families.
