The
Education Professional Standards Board was established as part of the 1990 Kentucky Education Reform Act to oversee the education profession. EPSB is the standards and accreditation agency for Kentucky teachers and administrators and programs of education at Kentucky colleges and universities.
Traineeship Program funds are available to help defray part of the tuition costs at state institutions. In addition, IECE Traineeships are available for teachers and administrators pursuing an initial IECE certificate while working with children with disabilities in the state-funded preschool or Head Start program.
