A healthy school environment included the psychosocial climate and culture of the school. The psychosocial environment includes the physical, emotional, and social conditions that affect the well-being of students and staff.
Kentucky Center for School Safety - Through its partner agencies, the Kentucky Center for School Safety will provide training in best and promising practices with regard to supporting students, teachers, and other school and community providers.
Provides a list of Kentucky’s crisis services, effective
mental health prevention and intervention resources and elementary and
middle/high school resources.
Resilience
in School Environments Index
Healthier Generation, together with Kaiser Permanente,
launched the Resilience in School Environments (RISE) Initiative to support
teachers and students with tools and resources to better manage emotions,
recognize strengths and weaknesses, and rise above adversity. The RISE Index
can be used to assess the social emotional health of schools and districts.

The Collaborative for
Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is a trusted source for
knowledge about high-quality, evidence-based social and emotional learning
(SEL). CASEL supports educators and policy leaders and enhances the experiences
and outcomes for all PreK-12 students. CASEL is committed to educating the
whole child and equipping students for school success and in life.
