Alternate Kentucky Summative Assessment

Alternate KSA AAAF

The Kentucky Department of Education no longer requires the Alternate Assessment and Accountability Folder or AAAF to be kept as a requirement of the state. The decision to use the AAAF beginning in the fall 2020 will be a district decision only.

The AAAF may contain the following information if the district chooses to continue to use the folder: 

  • Student Information

  • Teacher Code of Ethics 

  • Teacher Certificates 

  • Work Samples 

  • Attainment Task Scores and Additional Supports (if needed) 

  • Transition Attainment Record (TAR) Information (Required at grade 11; optional at grades 12 and 14.)
